Friday, January 20, 2023, God called his handsome son home, Brian Deon Holmes born February 18, 1992, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Brian is the second oldest son of the late Mildred Brioni Holmes Hayes.

Brian attended Horry County schools, graduating from Socastee High School in 2010.

Brian developed a diligent work ethic at an early age. He started working while attending high school, working at Drunken Jacks. He later worked at Driftwoods and sometimes left a shift at Drunken Jacks and finished the night at Driftwoods. Brian’s last place of employment was with UPS until his untimely death.

Brian was preceded in death by his mother Mildred Brioni Holmes Hayes, his aunt Brittany Shane Davis and his grandmother Sarah Russell.

He leaves to cherish his memories of his beloved grandmother Barbara Davis German (Bernard) and grandfather Theodore Russell. His adoptive parents are Michael and Grace Beck. Brian leaves three aunts Tiffany Bell of Mississippi, Kimberly Manigault of Monks Corner, and Carmella Russell of Columbia; two children Lily and Ethan Holmes; three brothers Brandon and Brison (Allyssa) Holmes and Kenneth Hayes III; Two adopted brothers T.O. and Alex Rogers; five sisters Brianna and Bianca Holmes, Angel Hayes and Zhane Richburg and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and close friends.

There will be a viewing held Wednesday, January 25, 2023, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel.
