Ainer Lee Dewitt was born on April 10, 1951, in Longs, South Carolina to the late Lester and Reatha B. Williams, Sr. She transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home on March 30, 2025.
She attended the public schools of Horry County. At an early age, she accepted Christ and joined Freemont Missionary Baptist Church. She was married to the late Connie Dewitt for 37 years.
Ainer was preceded in death by her daughter, Delane Williams; granddaughter, Tanya James; two sisters, Flora Mae Wilson and Reatha Mae Dozier; seven brothers, Earnest, Don Jay, Lester, Jr., Horace Lee, Sydney, Lenford, and Harris Williams.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories to her children, Leeanna Williams, Minister Paulanette (Deron) Ingram, Connieze Dewitt, Lonnie (Fatisha) Dewitt, Carrie (Timothy) Richardson, and Joe Knox; her siblings, Flossie Pinckney, Lucille Vereen, both of Longs, SC, and Ella Mae Miller of Loris, SC; five sisters-in-law, Clara Williams, Hattie Williams, both of Longs, SC, Pastor Marva Dewitt, Magalene Moody and Annie Ruth Grissett all of Conway, SC, five brothers-in-law, JW Dewitt, Johnny Dewitt, Alive Dewitt, James Dewitt, all of Conway, SC, and Joe Dewitt of Winston Salem, NC; one aunt, Lila Bellamy of Longs, SC, 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, three special friends, Alene Claridy, Otis Hemingway, and Buddy Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
