Mr. Alexander Vaughan, Sr., the son of the late Dolphus and Gomalia Gore, was born on November 1, 1954. He was affectionately known to many as “Shorty”, “Zeke,” and “Tobacco Man.”
Alexander attended North Myrtle Beach High School. At an early age, he accepted Christ and became a member of Chesterfield Missionary Baptist Church. He served in the Usher’s Ministry, was a chef at various restaurants, and played basketball.
Alexander leaves cherish memories to his wife, Theresa Livingston Vaughan; his children, Alexander Vaughan, Jr. and Tova Randolph; his siblings, Dynathus Gore and Harry (Jacqueline) Vaughan; granddaughter Amari Livingston; brothers-in-law Leon (Gina) Livingston and Jason (Wilhemina) Livingston; sister-in-law Marilyn Dale Evans; god sisters Rosa Lee Knox and Sevial Goings; and godchildren Jameka Goings and Patrice Goings.
Alexander gained wings to his eternal home on May 12, 2025, to join his parents and other family members.
