2 Timothy 4: 6-8 New Living Translation (NLT) The time of my death is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return.
On Wednesday, August 21, 2025, Our Beloved Andrew Frinks answered when God called his name. Andrew, affectionately called “Andy Boy, Boy Frinks”, either name called, he would answer!
Andrew “Boy” was born to the late Carrie C. Frinks on January 4, 1952. His education was through the Horry County School system. At an early age, “Boy” joined Saint John AME Church, where his seat was always on the front pew, where he attended faithfully until his health began to fail him. He was employed at Myrtle Beach Hospital and in other various jobs over the years.
He was joined in marriage to the late Theresa Bellamy. His favorite words were “Aight Now and Here Comes the Andy Boy”. He loved music, whether it was listening to cassette tapes through speakers, jukeboxes, playing his guitar, or just singing his songs. Andrew had a mule that used to do various things, such as plowing gardens and riding his nieces and nephews around Sandridge.
Andrew was preceded in death by his mother, Carrie C. Frinks; his wife, Theresa Bellamy; his siblings, Mack Frinks, Donald Gore, Frankie Frinks, Genaster Vereen, and Ruby Gore; a nephew, Marcus White; a niece, Stacy Wilson; and two bonus sons, Nickolas Bellamy and Laphon Bellamy.
Andrew leaves to cherish his memories a devoted sister and caregiver, Irma F. (Bertie) Wilson of Longs, South Carolina, sister, Evelyn A. Frinks of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; brothers, Lenford, Phil, and Steve (Lindsey) of Longs, South Carolina, and Thomas (Arnitta) Frinks of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; a sister-in-law, Sparkle Frinks of Loris, South Carolina; special nieces and caregivers, Ronette W.
