Angela W Swinton

Angela Denise Swinton aka “Niecy”, the daughter of Marylin Pyatt and the late Larry Pyatt, began her life’s journey on  April 2, 1971, Conway, S.C. and departed this life on March 1, 2020 in Conway, SC. God’s angels came down from heaven and took her on home.

“Niecy”  will be remembered for her bright smile, big heart, sense of humor and great intelligence. She enjoyed reading books, listening to music and being with her children.

Niecy attended Conway High school where she was a straight “A” student and graduated top of her class. She excelled in English, which was her favorite subject. She attended Horry-Georgetown Technical College and  earned her certification as a CNA and Phlebotomist. She was employed at Grand Strand Medical Center, Angelica’s Health Care and Dr. Adamson’s Medical Office before being diagnosed with Lupus disease.

Niecy was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. She loved everyone in her own special way.

Niecy was preceded in death by her Daddy: Donald Lee Floyd, Grandmother: Anna Warren and her Son: Christian Watson.

Niecy leaves a legacy of loved ones to cherish her fond memories, her mother Marylin Pyatt, brother Eric Warren, daughters: Shavonna Pyatt and Brittany Johnson, sons: Michael Pyatt, Dominic Johnson, Donovon Johnson. aunts: Ellaruth Bromell, Veronica Tidewell & Blanche Pyatt uncles: Kenneth (Annie May )Floyd, Johnny Lee  Floyd, Charles

(Sarah) Pyatt, a special cousin Dennis Green, grandchildren: Jamir Johnson, La’Real ,Jayden, Neech, Kimbrelle, Caroline, Antwun, Dominic Jr. & Damari, goddaughters: Shalonda Brown, Stucora Brown & Jannie Gregory, children’s father: Levern Johnson, dear friends: LaTonya Moses, Yolanda Brown Huggins, Chuck Parker Sr. , Rob and  a host of relatives, stepchildren and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday March 8, 2020 at the Conway Chapel. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday March 9, 2020 at the Friendship Missionary Baptist chruch in Conway.
