Angeline Scott-McNeill of Bucksville passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023.
Angeline Scott McNeill was born on New Year's Eve December 3I, I942 in Horry County, South Carolina to the late Thomas Jefferson Scott and Ellen Smith Scott. Angeline "Angie" slipped into eternal rest in the early morning of Friday, December I, 2023 at home following an illness.
She attended Horry County Public Schools and was a housewife. She was a loving and caring grandmother and great-grandmother who was affectionately called "Granny". She was a loyal and faithful friend. Those who knew her, knew that she spoke her mind and would let you know how she felt.
She would get out in the yard with her wash pot and make the best hog-head cheese, crackling, and chicken bog that you have ever eaten before. She had a clientele of people who would call and put in their orders before the weather turned cold. That is just a testimony as to how good it was.
Angeline was preceded in death by her parents, all of her siblings except one, and an adopted son, Charles Terry Johnson.
Angeline leaves to cherish fond and loving memories of three daughters, Teresa (Mack) Owens of Conway, South Carolina, Terry Pryor of Conway, South Carolina, and Patricia Bowen of
Columbia, South Carolina; two sons, William (Saundra) Pryor of Conway, South Carolina, and Christopher (Erica) McNeill of Tabor City, North Carolina; one sister who is the last of the
Scott's siblings, Louellen Scott of Bronx, New York; I I grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, a special daughter-in-law, Saundra Pryor whom she loved dearly, numerous nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
The family of Angeline Scott-McNeill wishes to thank you and acknowledge with great appreciation your kindness during her illness and passing. It is during this time of sorrow we learn how much our friends mean to us. Your kindness and sympathy will always be remembered.
