Anthony (Tony) Gregory Moore, son of the late Margaret Bellamy was born on July 27, 1963, in the Popular section of Horry County, South Carolina. Tony was called to eternal rest on March 24, 2021.
Tony was employed as a dishwasher for many years in various restaurants throughout the Myrtle Beach area.
Tony accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and was a member of El Shaddai Ministries of Faith in the Burgess Community, under the leadership of Apostle Jettie Hannah. While at El Shaddai Ministries, Tony was tutored and learned to read the bible and would read scripture during church services. He also served as armor-bearer and overall “right-hand man” for Apostle Hannah making sure things were set up at the church and doing whatever he could do to help someone else.
Tony loved his family and had a warm heart and a quick smile.
Tony was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Bellamy and his biological father Larry (Lacy) Wilson and one brother Allen Livingston.
Tony leaves behind to cherish fond memories of him, his sweet wife of twenty-three years, Joyce Moore of Myrtle Beach, SC; his loving step-father Harry Bellamy of Longs, SC; four brothers Kelvin (Lois) Livingston of Charlotte, NC, Rev. Gilbert F. (Rudene) Vaught, Larry T. (Bonnie) Livingston, and Charles (Minnie) Bellamy all of Longs, SC; five sisters Betty Livingston of Charlotte, NC, Constance Livingston of Trenton, NJ, Myrazana Bellamy, Helen (Wattie) Jefferson, and Stephanie Stanley all of Longs, SC; one aunt Bernice Dewitt of Longs, SC, two step-daughters Jacqueline Smith and Venus Worthy of Brooklyn, NY; a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Popular AME Church Cemetery in Longs. Ocean View Funeral Home, Myrtle Beach Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
