Life Story of Antoneo Wilson
Antoneo Tariq Wilson aka Rexk, 21, of Conway, SC, transitioned April 17, 2020. He was born July 26,1998 in Conway, SC, the son of Willie L. Wilson and Darcy Carter.
Tariq will be remembered for his illuminating alluring energy, smile, kind heart, sense of humor, love for the camera, and ability to be his authentic self. He found his tribe in his friends and family and enjoyed spending quality time with them. He never missed an opportunity to tell someone that he loved them.
Tariq attended public schools in Conway, SC, Charlotte, NC, Lilburn, GA and Savannah, GA where he was a stand-out football player. He excelled in all sports, however, football was his
Tariq was a loving father, son, grandson, uncle, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. He considered his friends to be his family and he loved everyone in his own special way.
Tariq was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Larry Carter, maternal uncles Larry Jones and Nick Carter, maternal aunt Florine Carter, paternal great-grandmothers, Rosa Lee James and Roberta Wilson.
Tariq leaves a legacy of loved ones to cherish his memories, his parents Willie L. Wilson and Darcy Carter; daughter Dy'Mani Wilson and her mother Shameshia Bellamy; sisters: Nakalah Cox, Kaydriana Wilson, Lauryn Thomas, DyShaila Wilson (We Forever), Kenadi Wilson, Taleah Wilson and Du'Neshia Wilson; step-siblings: Le'Teavia Brown, Sabian Brown and Charles Gregg; grandparents, Jacqueline (LeVerne) Allen, Linda Pierce, Willie Wilson Sr., and Gin Wilson; aunts: Linda (Tobby) Carter, Alona Wilson, and Kristie Carter; uncles: Antonio Pierce, Brian Frost, Dustin Wilson and O'Bryan Wilson; special cousins: Tabrea Floyd, Antonio "Romo" Pierce and Shaneikqa Smalls; Da Village: Carl Dukes, Mitchell Cox, Vanessa Williams, Jimmy "Jimbo" Calloway, Pam Laquidara, Tiffany James, Lawanda Gerald, Fred Cox, Thomas "Jr." Cox, Lashonda Bethea, Carol Cox Brown, Takisha Bellamy, Clara Ross, Marquis Cox and Tony Cox; three nephews and two nieces and a host of relatives and friends.
Private graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Conway. Ocean View Funeral Home Conway Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
