Bilquanetta Stanley

Bilquanetta Stanley was born on October 27, 1967, in Conway, South Carolina, to the late Levon and Sarah Stanley.  She was the second oldest girl of three children.

Bil or “Lil Mama” as she was affectionately called, graduated from Conway High School, class of 1985. She advanced her education and earned her degree as a medical assistant.

 She loved her God and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at a young age.

While Bil was a woman of many talents, her deep empathy and compassion for others was unparalleled. She had a knack for connecting with people as she touched many lives. She knew how to pool resources and apply them to help others. Her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.

She loved cooking, spending time with family, talking on the phone and just having a good time.

Bil shared a unique bond and absolutely adored all three of her children, she cherished her 13 grandchildren and treasured her one and only great grandchild.  Bill’s love will live on in the hearts of each of them, forever.

Bil was preceded in death by her parents Levon and Sarah Stanley.

On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the age 56, God gently laid Bil to rest peacefully during the quiet of the night.

 She is survived by her three loving children: son; Antwan Stanley of Conway, South Carolina, daughters; Whitney (Michael) Stanley, of Conway, South Carolina, LaTia (Franciosx) Stanley of Conway, South Carolina.  She is also survived by one sister; Tina Burroughs of Conway, South Carolina, one brother; Shawn Stanley, of Conway, South Carolina. 13 grandchildren; Taylor Faulk, of Conway, South Carolina, Makayla Faulk, of Conway, South Carolina, Derry’Iana Holmes of Conway, South Carolina, Isiah Wright of Choppee, South Carolina, Stephone Stanley, of Warsaw, North Carolina, Sariah Beaty, of Conway, South Carolina, My’Sterious Beaty, of Conway, South Carolina, MyRianna Shepard, of Conway, South Carolina, MaKiah Beaty, of Conway, South Carolina, Lauren Stanley, of Conway, South Carolina, Sha’Kii Beaty, of Conway, South Carolina, Mi’Layshia Beaty, of Conway, South Carolina, Mic’Hael Beaty, of Conway, South Carolina. One great-grandchild; Journee Tisdale, of Conway, South Carolina. Two uncles; James (Anna) Ford, of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Don Stanley, of Columbia, South Carolina, Four aunts; Patrel Brady, of Conway, South Carolina, Rosa Manigo, of Conway, South Carolina, Patricia Sessions, of Hillside, New Jersey, Evelyn Stanley, of Hillside, New Jersey.  One great-aunt; Bernice McCray, of Conway, South Carolina.  A mother who reared her as her own; Phyllis Gaither, cherished best friend/cousin; Theresa Bellamy.  Two beloved friends; Doris Bellamy and Debbie Spain.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Mason Temple Church of God in Christ.  Interment will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.  There will be a viewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Ocean View Funeral and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel.
