Cecelia Glover

On July 20, 2020, Cecelia Glover got her wings and went to walk with the angels. Cecelia Glover was born in Boston, MA on April 9, 1963, to the late James and Ethel Willis. Making an everlasting bond with her siblings Heidei Woodberry (sister), Sylvia Willis (sister), James Willis (brother), Charles Willis (brother), and Bishop Jockery Burrell (brother). At an early age, she went to Copley Highschool and then furthered her education at English Highschool where she later graduated. She then went into sales to becoming a licensed CAN (Certified Nursing Assistant).

Cecelia Glover was a leader. She was not only a great mother she inspired her next generation to always reach for greatness. She had a loving heart that could not be matched. She was the true definition of an angel in disguise. Her guidance and wisdom brought many through tough times.

Cecelia Glover will be missed by many. She leaves cherished memories with her 6 children. From oldest to youngest Kenneth Willis, Terrance Willis, Domonique Willis, Reginald Willis, Whitney Willis, and Bianca Walker. Also her extended sons Raheem Allen and Timothy Davis or as we know him Chum. She also cherished the hearts of her extended daughters Ronetta Grate and Bella Willis. The next generation then starts with Ty’Quarious Jones and ending with Aubree Willis. With having 21 grandchildren anyone of them can tell you nothing beat a car ride with Nana. Every time Nana left best believe Jordan would surely be waiting at the door for her to get home.

One thing about Cecelia Glover is she always put family first. She would go through any lengths to make sure her family was taken care of. Cecelia Glover has faced many tests and trials most soldiers could never imagine. She is proceeded in death by her grandmother Lever and Rosetta Woodberry, her husband George Glover, her brother James (Chris) Willis, her son Charles Arki Willis and her beloved dog Maxx.

Cecelia Glover touched many hearts throughout her life. She was the Godmother of Margo Jones and Tenika Cummings. She met best friends like Denise Wright, Roslyn Glover, Tracee Cummings, and Shaunetta Platt they always had her back. Also, we can never forget Nanas 1,000 photos a day whenever her hair would get done by Shayla Glover or when Niya Willis and Hananiah Willis would get her makeup and eyelashes done just the way she liked.

The world needs more people like Cecelia Glover. Just remember as we celebrate this extraordinary and beautiful life, she has impacted us all in our own individual ways. Cecelia Glover had a mind like no other its like no matter the situation she always understood.

Cecelia Glover of Conway passed July 20, 2020. Private graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday. July 25, 2020 at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.  Ocean View Funeral Home Conway Chapel is in charge of arrangments.
