Charles Green

Charles Green was born to the late Thelma Hardee Green and the late Albert Green on April 1, 1952.  He departed life on February 12, 2021 in Georgetown, SC.  The Nickname, Willie Alford was given to him by a special niece, Tia Gibbons. 

In addition to the demise of his parents, Charles was predeceased in death by siblings Evangelist Earlene Keel and Mr. Ernest Green.  

Most of his life was lived in parts of South Carolina.  He also resided in Crescent City, Florida for a short period of time.

Charles developed a love for crafts; some of the crafts he acquired were pinned on his wheelchair.

Charles loved to eat and drink. He lived the cliché “eat and drink and be merry.” He loved people and he never met a stranger.  Charles’ jestering will be sorely missed by his acquaintances and friends. In particular, Maryann (Bruce). 

Charles is survived by siblings: sisters Linda Reaves (Johnny) and Diane Sims (George); Brothers Joe Lee Green (LueAnn) and Wendell Green; nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Charles Green of Georgetown passed on February 12, 2021. There will be a memorial service held 1:00 p.m. Friday February 19, 2021 at Ocean View Funeral Home Conway Chapel. Ocean View Funeral Home, Conway Chapel will be assisting this family.
