Charles Allen Ham

Mr. Charles Allen Ham was born on March 18, 1953, to the late Jerome Ham and Bernetha Lee. He went into eternal rest on Friday, November 29, 2024.

Charles accepted Christ as his personal savior early in life and later joined the First United Pentecostal Church of Conway, South Carolina where he served the Lord.

He was a very hardworking man who spent many years farming. In his spare time, he loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards and fishing.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome Ham, and Bernetha Lee; three brothers, Jerome Ham, Jr., Rudolph Franklin, and William Ham; and two sisters, Deloris Ham and Francina Jackson.

He leaves to cherish his fondest memories to his wife, Joyce Ham of Conway, South Carolina; two daughters, Tammy James and Bernetha Ham both of Conway, South Carolina; two sons, Charles Ham and Jeffrey Ham both of Conway, South Carolina; a brother, Douglas (Ruth) Ham of Conway, South Carolina; a sister, Carolyn Green of Lawrenceville, Georgia; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at First United Pentecostal Church.  Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.  There will be a viewing from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel.
