Christine Evester Hytower

Christine Evester Hytower passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023. 

Christine E. Hytower was born on December 25, I963 in Marianna, Arkansas to the late Jeff Sr. and Vetrie Hytower who preceded her in death. She has four brothers that preceded her in death, Van Gray, Oley, Otha, and Cleven Hytower; three special nieces, Detta (Kay), Jamila, and Katina; special cousin, Renita Johnson. She returned to her heavenly home on February 27, 2023.

Christine was educated in the Arkansas school system of Lee County. She was employed for many years by Capital Cab Services as a driver and by Grand Strand Comfort Care as a Personal Care Assistant. She loved driving cabs where she met a lot of interesting people and also, and she loved caring for other people. Christine was a social butterfly. She liked to laugh, cut up and have fun.

Loving memories will be cherished by her loyal and devoted children, Phonecia and Keviuntae Hytower both of Myrtle Beach, SC; two grandchildren, Yahshua Hytower and Madisyn Young, both of Myrtle Beach, SC.

Christine was the ninth of eleven children. She leaves behind four brothers Joseph Gray, Jeff Jr. (Carolyn) Hytower who resides in Kansas City, MO, Shelton (Barbara), and Redell (Arlene); two sisters, Vetrie and Lynell Hytower all of who reside in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Much love to her best friend Valarie Young who shares a granddaughter, Madisyn (thank you for being a friend). Two special daughters, Beverly Young and Kayla Myers; a special niece-in-law, Melissa Hytower and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel.  There will be a viewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel.
