Mr. Cleve Myers was the son of the late Fred Myers Sr. and Nary Emma (Ruby) Carr. He was born August 12, 1934, in the Burgess Community of South Carolina. Mr. Cleve Myers attended public schools in Horry County and later joined the United States Army and was honorably discharged.
At an early age, Mr. Cleve joined Saint James United Methodist Church now called the Brook; where he remained a faithful member until his health started to decline.
Mr. Cleve Myers was united in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. May Alice Smalls of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Mr. Cleve Myers was a very quiet man that never complained He was always there to lend a helping hand to assist anyone at any moment he could. He loved the outdoors and spent many years working on the many different golf courses in Myrtle Beach, SC
.Mr. Cleve had four sisters and two brothers who preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and faithful sister, Ms. Lucille Myers of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He leaves four sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; a brother-in-Caw of Suitland, Maryland: three stepsons of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; three nieces and four nephews of Troy, New York; two nephews of Charlotte, North Carolina; seven nieces of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and a host of other family and friends.
Cleve Myers of the Burgess Community passed on July 9, 2022. There will be a viewing held Tuesday, July 19, 2022, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at St. James United Methodist Church in Burgess, SC. Burial will follow directly after service at Heavens Gate Cemetery in the Burgess community.
