Cosandra Lewis Minor

Cosandra Lewis Minor, daughter of the late Oscar and Lossie Lewis was born on March 6, 1953 and peacefully transcended on December 19, 2020. She is preceded in death by Tuyrone Lewis (brother) and Julia Lewis Ytiille (sister).

Cosandra Lewis married Durmotte Minor and through the Air Force was stationed in both California and ultimately ended in Anchorage, Alaska. Cosandra is the mother to Angeta Minor of Alexandria, Virginia, Howard R. Minor II of Anchorage, Alaska and Durmotte Minor II of Atlanta, Georgia. In 2007, she relocated to her hometown of Myrtle Beach to be closer to family and her children. In zoo8, she attended Horny Georgetown Technical College and obtained her Associates Degree as a Phar­macy Technician on May 13, 2020.

Cosandra Lewis Minor affectionately known to many as "Katie" was a sweet and caring woman. She was a loving mother, sister and Good friend to so many in both Alaska and South Carolina. It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we have to say good-bye but we know we will see you on the other side.

Cosandra was absolutely a phenomenal woman and with irony, 

Maya Angelou was one of her favorite author and poet.

Cosandra Lewis Minor formerly of Myrtle Beach passed Saturday, December 19, 2020, in Alexandria, VA. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, December 27, 2020, at Pine Island Community Cemetery.  Ocean View Funeral Myrtle Beach Chapel assisting the Minor Family.
