David Earl "Mudd" Luddley

Mr. David Earl Luddley (Mudd) was born on May 2, 1963. He was called home on October 23, 2022.

Mr. Luddley obtained his education from Horry and Georgetown County Schools.

Mr. Luddley was a strong, independent, and loving man. His faith in God was even stronger. He worked at Two Men and A Truck as a supervisor before his illness. Mr. Luddley enjoyed fishing, listening to music, and being outside fixing and building everything. He would never let you know if anything was bothering him, he would always say “I’ll be okay, don’t worry about me.” Mr. Luddley was no stranger to anyone, he was like a father, son, and uncle to so many people. Just to see his smile and hear his laugh would put a smile on your face and warmth in your heart. Mr. Luddley was a great person to be around.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Three sons: Terence Luddley (deceased), Terrill Luddley of Virginia Beach, VA and Austin Ward of Conway, SC, one daughter Latoya (Jerry) Gattys of Conway, SC, 8 grandkids Brayden, AJ, Jeremias, Liyah, Lillyanna, Jamiya, McKenna and Paisley, and a host of loving relatives and friends.

David Earl "Mudd" Luddley of Conway passed away on October 23, 2022. There will be a viewing held Friday October 28, 2022 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday October 29, 2022 at Rose Hill Memorial Garden.
