David "Chubb" Preston Mansfield

David "Chubb"  Preston Mansfield passed on August 31, 2021. There will be a funeral service held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach chapel. A viewing will be also be held Saturday, September 2, 2021, at the Myrtle Beach Chapel from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. 

David Preston Mansfield born September 30, 1968, to the late Corentha Mansfield Starling and Ronald Dickerson gained his heavenly wings 8/31/2021. David was affectionately called Chubb by love ones and friends. He received his formal education in Williamsburg County SC prior to moving to Myrtle Beach. Where he was employed as Maintenance Engineer. He was a member of Pioneer Social Club. Chubb was known and loved for his fun-loving spirit and bright smile. 

 He leaves to cherish his memory: A loving wife Loretta N Mansfield, Father, Ronald Dickerson of Boston Massachusetts, Two(2) stepchild Jeffrey and Tiffanie Nesbitt of Myrtle Beach SC. Four sisters, Tracey Mansfield (Carl) of Lane, SC, Stacey Mansfield (Stacey) of Columbia, SC, Stephanie Mansfield of Kingstree, SC and Andrea Dickerson of Boston Massachusetts; Six brothers Harold (Patricia) Finkley, Afford Dennison, Albert (Shirley) Dennison, Gary Butler , Mevin(Loretta) Nesbitt  and Michael Nesbitt; five(5) grandchildren Johnathan, Jeremiah, Jatasia, Jaya and Jordan all of Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Two (2) beloved aunts: Queen E Moses(Reginald) of Atlanta, Georgia, and Edith  Mansfield of Lanes, SC.  Four (4) brothers-in-law, Micheal Nesbitt, Gary Butler, Albert (Shirley) Dennison, and Alfert Dennison, and Harold(Patty) Finkley; One (1) sister-in-law, Pearl Dennison. Several special cousins & friends held as brothers Joseph (Joe) Mansfield, Shawn Jones, Johnnie Jones, Jerome Jones, Jimmy Kielty, Mike Keilty, Joey (Kody) Thomasson, Danny Ford, Lee (Beckford) Ford, Isaac Winns, Keith Gibson, John (Wayne) Feaster, Marcus Johnson.  And a host of other loving family and friends who will dearly miss him.
