Deaungela Montgomery

Deaungela Montgomery of Conway passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2023.  

De'Aungela Shaunta Latrice Montgomery was born on April 3, I99I in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to Angela Montgomery and Tyrone Holmes. She departed this life on Sunday, October 28, 2023.

She attended the Public Schools of Horry County. De'Aungela knew many people and would do anything to help those in need. She had a beautiful smile that would lighten up any darkened space. She loved her children very much along with other children. She also loved singing and doing hair and nails.

De'Aungela was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph and Deloris Montgomery; her uncles, Oscar Holmes, and Rico Holmes; and one aunt, Corinthia Montgomery.

Precious memories of De'Aungela will be cherished by her parents, Angela Montgomery and Tyrone Holmes; two children, Najahya Mack Cradle, and Jovon Simon; her best friend and paternal grandfather, Mr. Oscar Holmes III; her grandmothers, Deloris Montgomery, and Donna Cruz; six sisters, Raquel Montgomery (Daniel Campbell), Traci Adams, Shavon Holmes, Yolanda Holmes, Tess Holmes and Markila Gagum; three brothers, Frank Montgomery, Tykeem Holmes, and Taje Holmes; five uncles, Joseph (Yolanda) Montgomery, Jr., James (Lisa) Montgomery, Jeremy Holmes, Zach Holmes, and Johnathan Blair; four aunts, Lakesha Holmes, Samantha Simmons, Melissa Blair and Nicole Brummitt, her in-laws, Ernest and Angela Blair; a special friend, Jovon Cornelius Simon; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel.
