Ellis Johnson

Ellis Johnson 76, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022 peacefully in his sleep. Ellis was born August 15, 1945 in Horry County. He was the son of the late Allen and Nellie Johnson. He resided in the Burgess Community and he attended Horry County Schools. He also was an avid member of the St. James United Methodist Church. Mr. Ellis was well known in the community and he will be truly missed. He leaves to cherish his memory: Two daughters Samekia Bellamy (Longs, SC) and Tina Bellamy (Longs, SC), two grandchildren, Kendell Montgomery (Longs, SC) and Kendric Montgomery (Longs, SC). Siblings: two sisters, Nellie Perkins (Rochester, NY), Eunice Johnson, (Rochester,NY) and one brother Eddie Johnson,(Myrtie Beach, SC).

Ellis Johnson of the Burgess community in Myrtle Beach passed away on March 27, 2022. There will be a memorial service held at 12:00 noon Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel.
