“A time to be born...” Eugenia (Gina) was born to Edwinna Sue Oxendine and Eugene Jacobs on July 10, 1989, in Scotland County, North Carolina.
“A time to love...” Gina was joined in holy matrimony to Kevin Mishoe on October 9, 2009.
“A time to embrace...” Gina was a dedicated servant to her family and community. She devoted unselfishly to community projects and needs. Her goal was to serve her neighbors and to please God by helping others.
“A time to get...” Gina was educated in the public schools of Scotland County, North Carolina, and was a student of Horry Georgetown Technical College where she made the President’s List for academic achievement.
“A time to build...” Gina worked diligently to help build two successful businesses. Her work on the administrative side was instrumental in the overall success of both enterprises. Her customer service skills made all those who she spoke to love her.
“A time to die...a time of peace...”Gina departed this life quietly on June 6, 2024, at Grand Strand Medical Center with her devoted husband at her bedside. She departed in peace with faith in God, in whom she has always believed.
“A time to mourn and a time to dance.” Gina’s life has and will continue to have a tremendous impact on many lives. She leaves behind, to cherish her memory and continue her legacy to her community services, her loving husband, Kevin Mishoe, and her children, Jason and Naveyah Mishoe; her parents, Eugene, and Edwinna Jacobs; two siblings, Clyde Oxendine and Tenai Dawn Hunt; three step-children, Kevin Jr, Kelsey, and Joshua Mishoe; her many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Also her best friend and cousin, Kera Boyd.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Jerusalem Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Mishoe Family Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel.
The family will be receiving friends and family from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, from Saturday through Tuesday, at 1270 Bucksport Road, Conway, SC.
