Frank "Free" Isom, III was born on October 31, I966 to Glenda B. Isom and the late Frank Isom, Jr. in Conway, South Carolina. Frank entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
Frank received his early education in the public schools of Conway, South Carolina, and graduated with the Class of I985 from Conway High School. Frank proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged after serving up to six years. He was employed by J. Rueben Long Detention Center in Conway, South Carolina for over I0 years.
Frank had a kind heart and did not meet a stranger. He loved his two sons and family with every fiber in his being. Frank loved sports, especially basketball and football. His favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys.
Frank leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Frank Isaiah Isom and Elias Jeremiah Isom; his mother, Glenda B. Isom of Atlanta, Georgia; four siblings, Sandra Miller of Laurinburg, North Carolina, Sean Isom of Conway, South Carolina, Mia (Clifford) Peacock of Atlanta, Georgia, and Nicole Roberts of Little River, South Carolina; six nephews, Arious, Malik, TaSean, Jameer, Alex, and Jaylin; five uncles, Mr. Charles Brantley, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Brantley, Mr. and Mrs. William Brantley, Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Brantley, and Mr. and Mrs. Akbar Esa; nine aunts, Jan B. Alford, Debra B. Ross, Joyce Brantley, Geneva Heggins, Wanda Brantley, Joann Isom, Josephine Isom, Daisey Isom, and Janie Isom; and host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Bethel AME Church. There will be a viewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel. Interment will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Florence National Cemetery with Military Honors.
The Isom Family will receive family and friends on Tuesday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 505 Temple Street in Conway.
