Gail Sanders Hawa

Gail Sanders Hawa, 74, of Conway, SC, passed away peacefully on Oct 7, 2025, at home, attended to by her loving husband, Wayne, and her son, Seth. She was born July 2, 1951, to William David & Carolyn Gregg Sanders and was the eldest of four children. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was an avid student & teacher of the Bible in the Conway & Myrtle Beach Area.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wayne David Hawa, their children, Seth David Hawa (Karen) and Jason Ashley Hawa (Karen); 2 grandchildren, her mother, Carolyn Brooks, and brother, Derrick Lane. She was preceded in death by a younger brother, sister, and her stepfather.

A memorial service will take place at 2 pm on Saturday, Oct 25th, at Conway High School. The family requests that donations be made to The Watchtower Bible & Tract Society of New York in lieu of flowers.

Gail Sanders Hawa passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.  Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel, is assisting the Hawa Family.
