George Edward Vereen

George Vereen, 67 of Myrtle Beach passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Prince George Health Care in Georgetown. George was born on Janary 3, 1953 in Conway, SC to the late Gilbert Sr. and Gracie A. McCray Vereen. George was a graduate of Myrtle Beach High School. He joined the US Army and became a 13 B Cannon Crewman. He served his country and was honorably discharged in 1980. He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Vanda (Totlisa) Vereen of Ludowici, Ga., three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two sisters, Martha Vereen Collins and Maxcine Vereen both of Myrtle Beach SC and a host of loving nieces, nephews other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at Ocean View Funeral Home, Myrtle Beach Chapel Saturday February 29, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will also be held at the  Ocean View Myrtle Beach Chapel Friday February 28, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will take place 1:00 pm Monday March 2, 2020 at the National Cemetery in Beaufort, SC
