Glenn Duval Howlett

Glenn Duval Howlett passed away on June 12, 2024.

Glenn Duval Howlett, age 62, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away at Grand Strand Hospital at 11:55 p.m. on June 12, 2024, after a long fight against myriad health issues.  Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, he traveled all over the U.S., obtaining his associate degree and working as a large-project construction foreman before becoming a chef, and finally finding his residence in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, the place he fell in love with. He cherished the ocean and all the beauty of the Grand Strand.  He was preceded in death by his parents Buford Duval Howlett and Ruby Jean Howlett, and spouse Sharon Howlett. Glenn is also survived by his beloved sisters Tina (fiance Nick) and April (husband Jimmy), and brothers Jerry and Jason.  In addition, he is survived by his niece Telina (husband John, great-nephew Blake, and great-niece Ashlynn), nephew Preston, nephew Justin, nephew Miciah, and niece Miara.  Thanks to the medical professionals who helped with his fight over the years. He and his sense of humor will be missed by all!  With love from all the family, may you rest in peace.
