Mr. Harry Cornelius Gagum, affectionately known by all as :Trickey” was born January 30, 1952 to the late Essie Bell Washington and the late Ervin Green in Conway, South Carolina. He departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest with his heavenly father on Thursday, May 28, 2020.
Trickey attended the public schools of Horry County, South Carolina. Although Trickey didn’t receive a formal education, he was a master carpenter and a jack of all trades. Trickey was a family-oriented man with a VERY big heart and he never met anyone who didn’t become a friend. Trickey also loved to laugh and make others laugh.
In addition to his mother and fsather he was preceded in death by his first wife Diane Lewis Gagum, second wife Joyce Ann Graham Gagum, and a brother Ronald J. Green.
Trickey leaves to cherish his precious memories: 1 child Vanessa Smalls of Charlotte, N.C, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grand children all of Charlotte N.C., 3 sisters Faye Brown of Columbia, S.C., Dawna Faulk of Conway, S.C., and Arnetta (ann) Anderson of California, 2 brothers Bernard Brown of Conway, S.C. and Ervin Green Jr of Florence, S.C., 1 aunt Phyllis Gibson of Georgetown, S.C., 1 niece Tiehema Brown of Columbia, S.C., 2 nephews DeMario Cochran and Kwajae Faulk both of Conway, S.C., 1 great niece, 2 great nephews and great-great niece all of Columbia, S.C., In addition to his family Trickey also leaves a VERY SPECIAL girlfriend and caregiver Thomasena Hunt. A host of cousins and close friends. Trickey will be missed dearly by all that loved and knew him.
Harry "Tricky" Gagum of Conway passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Hemingway Chapel Cemetery in the Sandridge Community of Conway. Ocean View Funeral Home, Conway Chapel is assisting the Gagum Family.
