On May 20th, 1980, Iva Was Born in Brooklyn, NY to Father George Hines Jr. And Mother Tracy Ferguson. Her Birth Brought Joy to Many. She Entered Eternal Rest on July 3, 2021, In Georgetown, SC.

STAR As Her Grandparents Nicknamed Her Really Early in Life, Carried Nothing but Peace, Love and The Most Contagious Smile to Everyone She Encountered. In Early Childhood, Iva Lived in Clinton, NC with Her Grandparents. Where She Attended Butler Ave Elementary School. She relocated to Myrtle Beach, SC with Her Mother, where She Attended Myrtle Beach High School. Iva Later Gave Birth to Nadiva Alexis Williams and Joseph Delon Simmons Who Inspired Her to Get Her G.E.D. Iva Worked for Several Years in The Hospitality Field. Iva Loved to Dance and Was Mostly Known for Her “Proud Mary” And “I’ll Be There” Routines but She Loved Nothing More Than She LOVED Her Food. 

Iva Was Preceded in Death by Her Mother, Tracy Ferguson, Paternal Grandfather George Hines Sr., Maternal Grandfather Willie Ferguson Sr., And Maternal Grandmother Iva P Ferguson. 

Iva Leaves to Cherish Her Memory, Her Daughter Nadiva Alexis Williams of Longs, SC, Her Loving Sister, Denee King, Her Loving Father George Hines Jr. of Brooklyn, NY, Her Devoted Grandmother, Evelyn Frontis Aka Mawmaw (David Aka Pawpaw) of Clinton, NC, One Aunt, Patricia Ferguson Aka Mauntie and One Uncle, Willie Ferguson Jr. both Of Brooklyn, NY; A Very Special Cousin, Endia Ferguson of Brooklyn, NY, and a host of Cousins and Friends. Her Special Friend, Javoris Lewis of Columbia, SC. 

Iva Hines of Georgetown passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel. There will be no funeral or burial.
