Mr. James Millon Livingston was born on July 7, 1954, in the Popular Community of Longs, SC to Armenia Livingston Buck and the late Homer Lewis. He was reared by the late Francis Buck. James was affectionately known as Millon and he departed this earthly life on December 18, 2024, at Mcleod Health, Cheraw, SC. At an early age, Millon accepted Christ as his personal Saviour and friend. He was a member of Chesterfield MB Church and served on the Willing Workers Choir. Millon was a 1974 graduate of North Myrtle Beach High School. After graduating he took off running to find a job. Millon was a very hard worker and always kept two jobs. Millon later moved to Delaware and returned back home to live with his mother until his health begin to fail. He was an avid fan of sports and old western movies. Millon was preceded in death by his fathers, his son, James M. Livingston, Jr., and two siblings, Barbara Brown, and LaPatricia Lewis. Millon’s legacy of memories will be cherished by his mother, Armenia Livingston Buck; his children, Curtis (Kendra) Breckenridge of Kansas City, Missouri, Lamar Livingston of New Jersey; Janell Cox (James Herring) of Hickory, NC, Ashley (Shelbie) Livingston of New Orleans, LA and Joseph Keel of Longs, SC; his grandchildren, Arianna Sheffield, Nashaun Sheffield, Trenton Harper, Cameron C, Herring, Jamir Livingston, Zion Livingston, and Trenton Treme Livingston; his siblings, Connie (Gail) Livingston of Pawleys Island, SC, Jane H. Lewis (Dana Stewart), Homer Joe Lewis of Tampa Fl., Nathaniel Lewis, of Charleston, SC, and Mark M. Lewis of Charlotte, NC; his brother-in-law, Raymond Brown of Newport News, Va.; the mother of two of his sons, Gail Frinks Livingston; his aunts, Ina Mae Livingston, Seival M. Goings and Fannie Livingston; his life friends, Jake Cox, London Vereen and Marion Livingston; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Chesterfield Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. There will be a viewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Monday, December 23, 202,4 at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, North Strand Chapel.
