Jeffery Anthony Myers was born July 17, 1966 in Horry County to the late Mary Hemingway and Fred Myers.
Jeffery began his education at Myrtle Beach Public Schools and was married to his love of his life Janet E. Myers. In 1996 he relocated his family to Tampa, FL, becoming employed with Waste Management. He then gained employment with the City of Tampa for 8 years and was presently employed with Rosen Materials. Jeffery was a loving husband and great father to ll of his girls. He was a hard worker who spent his spare time with his family, fishing and enjoying football, an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was affectionately known to all in Myrtle Beach as "Mumbly" and "Smoke" to his Tampa family. Jeffery was the life of every party and the greatest host. Always welcoming any family or friends that visited the Tampa Bay area to his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Hemingway and Fred Myers; brother, Carl Lee Thompson; and brother-in-law, John L. Henry.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife of 34 years, Janet E. Myers; 4 daughters, Lakeisha James (Kevin) of Conway, Sc; Nakia Myers (Tyrone), Tanesha Myers and Quintella Myers (Vick) all of Tampa, Fl.; Sisters Barbara Jordan (Seaberry), Elouise Alston, Alicia Myers (Nick), Sheketa Marquez (Daniel) and Rosetta Moore all of Myrtle Beach, SC; Helen Jenkins of Conway, Sc; Sarah Chestnut(James) of Wesley Chapel, Fl; Carol Dingle (Curtis) of Socastee; Celeste and Georgia Parker of Conway SC, Flettie Parker of Atlanta, Ga; Brother James Campbell (Nikki) of Myrtle Beach, Dennis Myers (Cookie) of Charlotte, NC; Joseph Myers of Burgess, Avery Henry (Cora) of Ft. Huachuca, AZ and Craig Evans of Tampa FL; Howard Jeremiah and William Parker all of Conway SC.; 5 grandkids who were all his pride and joy Traveon James, Jeffery Myers, Jaliya Walker, Uriah Myers and Anais Concepcion. As well as a host of Nieces, nephews, other relatives, and sorrowing friends.
Jeffery A. Myers, formerly of Myrtle Beach passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020. There will be a private graveside service held in memory of Mr. Myers at 12:00 p.m. Saturday May 30, 2020 at the Heavens Gate Cemetery in Murrells Inlet, SC. Ocean View Funeral Home Myrtle Beach Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
