Jessie Williams

Jessie Williams of Myrtle Beach passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024. 

Jessie Mae Hambrick-Williams was born in Shelby, North Carolina on Jan 16, I958 to the late Carzell and Delia Hambrick .

She completed school and relocated to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where she met and married Solomon Williams. To that union, two children were born. Jessie worked many years at the Landmark Hotel.

Jessie was the type of woman to give you the shirt off of her back, has fed many people, and helped raise many babies.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carzell and Delia Hambrick; her loving husband, Solomon Williams of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; one brother, Roosevelt Byers; one sister, Frances Byers of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and a grandson, Jason Smith of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Solomon Williams III; her daughters, Pamela Smith (Lee Smith Jr.) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Desirae (Frank) Fuller of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; a bonus daughter, Shiquita Dowe; her grandchildren, Jamarri, Jakari, and Jakobie Smith of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; nephews, Kenneth Hambrick of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Stanley Hambrick, of Miami, Florida; best friend, Elder Gloria Grace of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; the Harrell family of Socastee, South Carolina; Deacon Daniel McNair of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and a host of special family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel.
