Jimmy Cartrell Bellamy was born on January 23, 2004, in Myrtle Beach SC, to William Carl Bellamy and LoRinda Jackson. On Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Jimmy departed this life to enter into eternal rest.
At an early age he attended Cedar Branch Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Andy Anderson.
Jimmy was a vibrant and energetic young man who will be missed by his family and friends. He was known for being the life of the party. He had an infectious laugh, a kind heart, and an adventurous spirit. Jimmy was passionate about making music, hunting, and fishing. In 2023, Jimmy graduated from North Myrtle Beach High and was employed by LuLu’s restaurant in North Myrtle Beach.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thomas Hemingway and Joann (Mack) Jackson; his paternal grandmother, Julia Mae Bellamy; one aunt, Maggie Jean Jackson; and one uncle, Tim Gore.
Jimmy leaves sweet memories to be cherished by his parents, William Carl Bellamy and LoRinda Jackson of the home; one sister, LaQuinda Shamika Jackson and brother-in-law, Derek Bellamy of Little River, South Carolina; a nephew, Alvaon Grate; two nieces, Giselle Bellamy and Shmyiah Bellamy of Little River, South Carolina; a godson; George Tyrone Hill Jr.; twelve uncles and twelve aunts. Jimmy has a host of uncles, aunts, special friends and relatives that he loved and cherished.
