Joeann Elizabeth Woodbury Armstrong was born October 4, 1941 in the small community of Pine Bluff, South Carolina in Georgetown.
Joeann had a variety of jobs from New York, Connecticut, Detroit to South Carolina.
She was a loving mother to Marcella, Robin, Kevin, Paula, Paulette, Stephanie and Gregory.
Our classy, jazzy, diva, known as “Liz” to her loved ones. Whatever she wore had to match, always dressed to a “T”.
To her niece and nephew, Bobby Jean Heyward and Londell Woodbury, mommy always spoke about the special things you did for her. We as the family will always appreciate EVERYTHING you have done for her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Bertha Lee Scott, her daughter, Paulette Armstrong, her sisters Thelma Senderitha, Velma, Sally, Mecia and Lorraine.
She leaves to cherish her memories a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
Joeann Armstrong of Myrtle Beach passed on Sunday, April 25, 2021. There will be a graveside service 11:00 a.m. Saturday May, 1 2021 at Pleasant View Cemetery in Hemingway, S.C. Ocean View Funeral Home and Cremation service Myrtle Beach chapel will be assisting this family.
