Johnnie Koonch

Johnnie Jean Singleton Koonch was born on December 22, I952 in Conway, South Carolina to the late Mr. Roosevelt and Mrs. Annie Lee Singleton. She laid all of her burdens down on Saturday, June I, 2024 to be with our heavenly Father.

Johnnie was educated in Newark, New Jersey. She had a special talent for making plants grow.

Along with her parents, Roosevelt and Annie Singleton, her husband, Carl E. Koonch; sisters, Sandra Lee Singleton, Jeanette Singleton and a brother, Kenneth Earl Singleton, all preceded her in death.

Johnnie is survived by three brothers, Sharif Ali Singleton, Raymond Singleton, and Tommie Singleton; her sister, Michele Singleton, and fiance, David L. Dixon and a niece who was like a daughter to her, Nicole S. Singleton.

Thank you sincerely for your kind expressions of sympathy and thoughtfulness. It is deeply appreciated and will always be remembered by the family of Johnnie Jean Singleton Koonch.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 PM, on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel. There will be a viewing 1 hour prior to the service.
