Mr. Johnnie Howard Wilson gained his wings on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
Johnnie, affectionately known as "Howard", was the son of the late Mr. Donnie Wilson and Villa Wilson.
Howard attended Horry County Public Schools. After the completion of high school, Howard went on to join the United States Army where he served until he received his Honorable Discharge. Howard returned home and became employed by Horry County Schools Transportation as a bus driver until his health began to fail.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donnie and Villa Wilson; one sister, Ms. Jennie Wilson; one brother, Mr. Ulyssee Wilson; and two brothers-in-law, Mr. Wilbur (Marcus) Livingston and Mr. Clearance Hemingway.
Howard leaves to cherish loving memories his wife, Mrs. Cheflin Wilson Reynolds; two sisters, Mrs. Carolyn Livingston and Mrs. Dorothy Hemingway; two brothers, Mr. Donnie Jr. Wilson and Mr. Ben Wilson all of Longs, South Carolina; one aunt, Mrs. Ozie Bell Randall of Longs, South Carolina; a very special niece, Ms. Terrie Wilson of Longs, South Carolina; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other sorrowing relatives and friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, North Strand Chapel. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
