Joseph Cerneka

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Cerneka.

Joe was a beloved father, loyal friend, son, and brother. Joe was born on 2/2/74 twin to his deceased brother Johnny.

Joe’s greatest pride and joy were his children, Joelle and Julian. His gentle spirit and kind heart were evident in his love for them.

To his friends, Joe was a beacon of loyalty and compassion. His hugs were contagious and his advice sincere. Joe had a welcoming nature that made long-time friends and strangers feel at home.

Joe leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, commitment, and perseverance. Known for his bleeding heart, he was moved by the struggles and injustices of the world and was always willing to help someone in need.

Though he may no longer walk among us, Joe's spirit lives on in our hearts forever.

A life celebration will be held at the Chubby Buddha in OIB on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 6 pm. Please join us to remember Joe and support his children through this difficult time.
