Karen Nickson

Karen Michelle Nickson was born February 14, 1961 to the late Francis Randall and Franklin Wallace and gained her wings on December 28, 2020. She attended the Philadelphia Public Schools and graduated from William Penn High School. 

Karen was preceded in death by her father, Franklin Wallace; mother, Frances Randall, siblings: Ray & Denise and her son: Darryl “Kareem” Shackelford, 

Karen leaves to cherish fond memories to her children: Malikah Shackelford Pierce & Bobby Shackelford; sister: Linda German and Yvonne, brothers: Franklin, Anthony, Lawrence, Kelvin ,Robert, Darren, Linwood, Steve, Hazel & June; sisters-in-law: Linda, Renell, Charlene & Lois Wallace; grandchildren: Daquil Shackelford, Haliym Shackelford, Bobby Shackelford IV, Kanye Robinson, Olivia Shackelford, Zamaire Shackelford, Haji Haywood; one great-grandchild: Nova Shackelford; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Karen Nickson of Myrtle Beach passed on December 28, 2020. There will be a homegoing celebration 1:00 p.m. Saturday January 2, 2021 at Ocean View Funeral Home Myrtle Beach Chapel. Ocean View Funeral Home Myrtle Beach is in charge of this service.
