Katie Mae Bryant

Katie Mae Bryant was born on May 3, 1957, in Horry County to the late Rev. James Elder Bryant and the late Lular Mae Bryant. She departed this earthly life on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

She attended the public schools in Horry County. Katie loved spending time with her family and fishing from sunrise to sunset. Katie was employed as a Prep Cook at Clark’s Restaurant in Little River, South Carolina. 

She leaves to cherish special and loving memories her children, Gary Bryant, Jeffery Bryant, Ronnie Bryant, Willis (Candice) Moss, Jeremy (special daughter in law Catherine) Moss, Rick Moss, and Donneka (Larry) Gibbs; 23 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren; her siblings, Willie Bryant, James (Dale) Bryant, Carolyn (Tanty) Freeman, Billie Bryant, Teresa (Daryl) Bryant, special sister Valene Bryant, Sarah Moss, James Felder, and Howard Hemingway; a host of family, friends, and loved ones.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at True Way Holiness Church.  Interment will follow in Heavenly Hills Cemetery.  There will be a viewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, North Strand Chapel.
