Kesan Johnson of Myrtle Beach passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
Kesan Jalil Johnson was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and a native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He attended Conway High School where he excelled in football. Kesan was most known for being a loving father to his children as they were his everything and meant the world to him. Kesan was a very loving and giving man. He took pride in lending a helping hand to those close to him. He was a man who loved well and was well loved! Kesan will be always loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
Kesan will be lovingly remembered by his parents Niesha Thomas and Michael Barnes, Jr.; five beautiful daughters, Onyx, Mehlani, and Spirit Johnson, Paris, and Nyla Dagg; his grandparents, Michael and Anna Barnes, Sharon and Darryl Barnes; two brothers, Norman Johnson and Andrew Destefano; two sisters, Shakeena and Azariah Barnes; four uncles, Darryl (Shakey) and Robert Barnes, Brandon Thomas, and Michael Jenkins; nine aunts, Keshia, Anna, Shirley, Keena and Michelle Barnes, Donesha Johnson, Tyrena Thomas, Tkia Jackson, and Tyeka Calvert; a close cousin Trey Moore; a special friend and confidant, Arlenny Philpott and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel. There will be a viewing from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel.
