Linda Joye Baker

Linda Joye Baker 79, widow of Charles Baker, passed away Wednesday  June 15, 2022 @ Conway Medical Center, Conway Sc.. Linda was born in Florence county  January 6, 1943  to the late  Richard L. Joye  and Cornelius Prosser Joye.. She worked tobacco fields and sewed  for a living. Linda was educated in Florence county schools,  she loved watching tv and spending time her kids and grands kids. To show her love, she would fuss at them all the time, She is missed already..

Linda is survived by her children: Jerry Mark smith, David Smith, and Linda Marie smith ( Lynn platt) of the home.. daughter in law : Falicia Rhoads…Brother: William “bill” Joye..

She was predeceased by brothers : Richard Lee, Harold, Elbert, and Matthew Joye Sr.  Also Teddy Ard,, Sisters: Betty Mae Warren, Carol Joye, Olla mae Huggins and Haroleen joye- Hall.. Best friend : Vanessa Smith

Linda loved her family and she will be greatly missed by her children , grands, nieces, nephews , Great nieces and Nephews and a host of other relatives that loved her as well…

Linda Joye Baker of Aynor passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.  There are no services planned. Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel will be assisting this family.
