Lorenzo Tyrone Evans was born on July 12, 2008 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to Cynthia Jean Williams and the late Derrick Leroy Burgess, Sr. He departed the earthly life to enter his heavenly home on January 8, 2025.
Lorenzo attended Myrtle Beach High School. He loved to play sports, in which he played within several different sports associations. Lorenzo was a fashion fanatic. He loved getting fresh and taking pictures. Despite Lorenzo's mistakes, he was well mannered, very respectful, and a protector who loved his family to the fullest. Lorenzo also did community service at Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Lorenzo was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Betty Jean Williams; grandmother, Deborah Jean Williams; uncle, Joe Lewis Williams; and paternal grandmother, Annie Burgess.
Lorenzo leaves to cherish his fond memories to his mother, Cynthia Jean Williams; his siblings, Curtis Williams of Conway, South Carolina, Renay Douglas, Victoria Douglas, Shantae Douglas, Tymeka Singleton, Latishia Singleton, Hakeem Evans, Paris Burgess-Williams, Cayden Evans, Amiah Sinclair, Derrick Burgess, Jr., Deriica Burgess, Jekila Burgess, and Jederris Burgess, all of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; uncles, Tracy (Yvette) Williams of Loris, South Carolina, Jermaine Mouzon, and Dedrick Burgess of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; aunts, Jemelia Burgess and Tiffany Nichols, both of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Special memories will be cherished by his godmother, Teresa Johnson, and his best friend and cousin, Aaron "Crunch" Nichols; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Mt. Olive AME Church. Interment will follow in Hills Chapel Cemetery in Nichols. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service in the church. Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel.
