Lueelle White

Lueelle Graham White was born on October 22, 1922, to the late Lee Graham and Deanie Ann Hewitt in Bucksport, SC. On Sunday evening January 23, 2022, our lovely beautiful generous rose was removed from the garden of life and transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home.

Lueelle was raised in the Bucksport Community and attended The Richardson Training School. Lueelle was committed to her family and worked very hard in the fields growing up and later as a domestic worker.

At an early age Lueelle became a faithful, dedicated, and loyal member of Salem A.M.E. Church. Lueelle worked diligently along with several Pastors and devoted many years of her time in the following capacities, Class Leader, President of the Senior Choir, Senior Usher Board, Trustee Board, Steward Board, Stewardess Board No. 1, Pastor’s Aid Committee, Willing Worker Home Society, Adult Sunday School Class, The Women In Touch Ministry, Established The Kitchen Aide Committee, Senior Missionary, Ebenezer Tent No.3
Lueelle was loved and respected by all who knew her. Always a great source of inspiration to her family by setting the example of what Christ wants us to be here on earth, to love and be of service to others. Grace and kindness were Lueelle’s gifts to everyone and a blessing to her family. Lueelle will be remembered as a stylish lady with her suits, dresses, hats and coordinating shoes.

Lueelle was predeceased by her father, Lee Graham and mother Deanie Hewitt Graham; husband, Isaiah White; son, Connie Mac White; brothers: Leo, Robert, Darney (Buster); sisters: Jeanette, Margaret, and Emily.

 Lueelle leaves to cherish her memories one brother Roosevelt (Sonny) Graham and his wife Ernestine, who lovingly cared for her in their home, sister-in-law Clara Mae Graham and brother-in-law Willie Rawls. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and good friend who will miss her dearly.

It was a joy for her church family on Sundays to be blessed with her singing and praising God. Sing on Sing on for your Heavenly Father.
 

Lueelle White of Bucksport passed away on January 23, 2022. A viewing will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday January 31, 2022 at Salem AME Church in the Bucksport community of Conway, Burial will follow at Owens Cemetery.
