Luke Greene

Luke Donell Greene of Myrtle Beach, SC died peacefully on Thursday, July 8, 2021. 

He was born on August 26, 1951, to the parents of Luke and Leona Greene who preceded him in death. Luke gave his life to Christ back in his early years. He always had faith and trust in God and always tried his best to do what was right. He was a loving and caring father and grandfather and would do anything for his family. He graduated from Whittemore High School where he played Football and Baseball. 

Luke was loved by everyone and was a huge sports fanatic. Everyone knows they could count on him for a good laugh and good company. He didn’t know a stranger and welcomed everyone with open arms. 

He is survived by his 3 children Valaria (Robert) Greene-Morris, Lenora “Donet” (Chevelle) Norman, Lucas (Joi) Greene;  1 brother Cornell Greene, 9 Grandchildren Dostaija (Nene) Moody, Kelton Greene, Samuel (Jazz) Moody, Jathniel (Jay) Moody, Jaylen (Jay) Greene, Kennedy Greene, Parker Greene, Darius Norman and Julius Norman; 2 Great-grands Nyla Greene and Layah “Fat-Fat” Greene and a host of family and friends.

There will be a memorial service held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel.
