Malik Naji Rashaud Sherman of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023.

Malik Naji Rashaud Sherman, son of Diana L. Moore and Dennis L. Sherman was born July 24, I997 in Conway, South Carolina. God called him home on April IS, 2023.
Malik is an Arabic name that means "King", which he was.
Malik was heavily involved in extracurricular activities throughout his K-12 years including Track and Field, Basketball, and Football. Malik didn't let his extracurricular activities get in the way of his academics. Not only did he run track, but he also chased A's and B's in the classroom.
Malik was like no other, you didn't know Malik if he didn't ask to detail your car or do your landscaping, which he loved dearly.
Malik Sherman leaves to cherish his memories his children, Aalayah Aniah Marie, Aalaysia Amia Marie, and Aiden Ryheem Naji Sherman; his parents, Diana L. Moore, and Dennis L. Sherman; six brothers, Shae (Christian) Sherman, Damone (Desiree) Sherman, Ny'mek Park, Dennis Sherman, Jr., Jamarian Sherman, and Omarion Sherman; five sisters, Alexis Sherman, Tykir Sherman, Annie Woods, Dre Morgan, and Anastacia Sherman; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at the James R. Frazier Community Center in Bucksport. There will be a viewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday, April 24, 2023, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel. Interment will follow at Bucksport Community Cemetery
