Mary Byers was born to the late Mrs. Delia Hambrick and the late Mr. Raymond McCluney on August 19, 1951. Mary, affectionately known as Frances, traded in her earthly home for a heavenly home on Nov 18, 2023.
She was a hard-working woman who spent many years at Royal Cleaners in downtown Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She later worked for K&W Restaurant until she retired.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mrs. Delia Hambrick and Mr. Raymond McCluney; her brothers, Roosevelt Byers of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Howard McCluney, Sr. and Jerry McCluney, Sr. of Shelby, North Carolina; and her sister, Laura Quinn of Shelby, North Carolina.
Mary leaves to cherish fond and loving memories her sons, Kenneth Hambrick of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Stanley Hambrick of Miami, Florida; granddaughters, Ashland Wright of North Carolina, Jadacei Hambrick, Breauna Hambrick and Makenleigh Hambrick, all of Gresham, South Carolina; one great-granddaughter, Kalea Quidachay; her siblings, Jessie Williams of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Raymond McCluney, Jr., Katie Ross, Edna Willis, Roy McCluney, Larry McCluney, and Horace McCluney, all of Shelby, North Carolina; nieces, Pamela (Lee) Smith and Desirae (Frank) Fuller of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; nephew, Solomon Williams of Myrtle Beach South Carolina; three great-nephews, Jamarri, Jakari and Jakobie Smith of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews and a special friend, Sharon Randall of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, November 24, 2023, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel.
