Michael Anthony Ross

Michael Anthony Ross of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina was born on April 8, I960 to Dwight K. Ross of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and the late Juanita Ross of Conway, South Carolina. Michael's name was called from the Book of Life and he answered on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

He attended the public schools of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He enjoyed making people laugh and was very stern about how he felt. When it came to his family and friends he loved them without a doubt. One could say that Mike lived a carefree life; outgoing and free-hearted. Anytime Mike was excited he was a very fast talker and yet did not have much to say.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother Juanita Jordan Ross; a son, Curtis Long; grandparents, Honest and Bessie Jordan; Floyd and Viola Ross.

Michael will be remembered by his father Dwight K. Ross; his loving children; brothers, Daniel Ross and Willie James (Lisa) Jordan; sisters, Violet Burroughs and Rosemary (Eddie) Daniels; uncle, William T. (Helen) Ross; aunts, Faustine (Tony) Barrett, Essie Ross, Lessie McSwain, and Mae Thomas; and a host of grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and many more aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM, on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  Interment will follow at Cane Branch AME Church Cemetery, Conway, SC.  There will be a viewing 1 hour before the service.  Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crem, Myrtle Beach Chapel is assisting the Ross Family.
