Mikell Demarquez Lance

Mikell Demarquez Lance, affectionately known as "Glizz" to many, was born on January 9, 2003, to Colette Bellamy and Michael Lance in Loris, South Carolina. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at McLeod Seacoast.

He attended Horry County Schools and accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age. He was a member of Bristol Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Tabor City, North Carolina. He was employed with RH Moore Co. and Heather's Feathers.

Mikell was preceded in death by one brother, Tyreek Bellamy, and one grandfather, Cleve Crawford.

He leaves to cherish sweet memories his parents, Colette Bellamy and Michael Lance of Longs, South Carolina; his beautiful daughter, Kyomi Lance; his loving grandparents, Katie Crawford of Longwood, North Carolina, Barbara (Delius) Philius of Loris, South Carolina and Jimmie (Cynthia) Bellamy of Bridgeport, Connecticut; his siblings, MicQuell and Montray Woodfolks of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Kierra Bellamy of Charlotte, North Carolina, Malieck Lance of Longwood, North Carolina, and Nakee Lance of Loris, South Carolina; his nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, Takyra Bessent, James Tucker, Jai'lee Tucker, Pablo Joe, and Callie Lance; a special friend, Yolanda Brown of Tabor City, North Carolina; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Bristol Creek Missionary Baptist Church.  Interment will follow at Bristol Creek Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.  There will be a viewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, North Strand Chapel.
