Mildred Brioni "Butch" Holmes

Wednesday, November 30, 2022, God called His beautiful child home. Mildred Brioni “Butch” Holmes Hayes was the daughter of Barbara Davis German (Bernard) and Theodore Russell born on August 16, 1970, in Myrtle Beach, SC. At an early age, she joined and attended Mount Zion AME Church along with her Grandmother, Mildred Holmes, whom she was named after.

Brioni attended Socastee High School where she graduated with the class of 1988. She later attended Horry Georgetown Tech, majoring in nursing, to utilize her skills and compassion towards the sick and elderly.

She was joined in Holy matrimony to the late Kenneth Hayes Jr.

She was proceeded in death by her baby sister, Brittany Shane Davis, and her stepmother, Sarah Russell.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved mother Barbara Davis German (Bernard) and father Theodore Russell; four sons Brandon, Brian, Brison Holmes (Allyssa) and Kenneth Haynes III; five daughters Brianna and Bianca Holmes, Angel Hayes and Zhane Richburg; three sisters Tiffany Bell of Mississippi, Kimberly Manigault of Monks Corner and Carmella Russell of Columbia; four grandkids and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Mildred Brioni "Butch" Holmes of the Burgess community passed on November 30, 2022. There will be a Homegoing Celebration at 12:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2022, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel.
