Morris Green Obituary

Morris Alexander Green, formerly of Little River, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.- - Revelation 21:4 (Kiv)-

Morris Alexander Green, beloved son of Sheila K. Lee (Willie) of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Raymond Jones (Faye) of Conway, South Carolina, was born on March 14, 1979, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. On Thursday, June 25, 2026, the Angel of Mercy quietly escorted Morris into the presence of God.

Morris graduated from North Myrtle Beach High School in 1998 and later attended DeVry University, where he pursued an associate degree. He dedicated nearly 20 years of service to Delta Air Lines, where he built lasting friendships and touched many lives through his kindness and warm spirit.

An entrepreneur at heart, Morris also owned and operated an herb and tea business, proudly serving members of the greater Atlanta, Georgia community. He was known as a loving, caring, and Compassionate person who never hesitated to help others. Morris found joy in life's simple pleasures — sharing laughter, enjoying good food, traveling, meeting new people, and spending time with those he loved. He especially enjoyed gardening and took pride in growing vegetables at home, a passion he shared with his grandfather, Sidney D. Green, Jr. His gentle spirit, generous heart, and love for family and friends will forever be remembered by all who knew him.

Morris attended Mount Zion AME Church in Little River, South Carolina, during his early childhood. He later attended Grace Tabernacle Church in Loris, South Carolina, before relocating to Queens, New York. After moving to Atlanta, Georgia, he became a devoted member of Almighty God Praise and Worship Ministry in Snellville, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Ladonna G. Wilson; his

paternal grandparents, Heywood and Mary Jones; and his

maternal grandmother, Mary L. Green.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving daughter, Kendall F. Ramsey (Trevor Silcox) of Hillsborough, North Carolina; stepson, N. Kerry Worrell of Fayetteville, Georgia; his parents, Sheila K. Lee (Willie) of Little River, South Carolina, and Raymond Jones (Faye) of Conway South Carolina; and his grandfather, Sidney D. Green, Jr. (Doris) of Little River, South Carolina. He is also survived by his siblings: Angelo M. Lee of Little River, South Carolina; Willie A. Lee II of San Diego, California; Adrian Vereen (Luz) of Ringgold, Georgia; Melissa Campbell (Maurice) of Dillon, South Carolina; Edmund L. Davis (Ebony) of Conway, South Carolina; Taneshia S. Duncan of Marion, Illinois; Quinn D. Rutledge (Ronald) of Pawleys Island, South Carolina. L. Earvin Brown of Conway, South Carolina; Ebonie C. Sindab of Atlanta, Georgia; and Caleb J. Green of Little River, South Carolina; Hattie L. Woodard (Montorius) of Little River, South Carolina; Heywood Jones Jr. of Longs, South Carolina; and Dianne J.
