Nelson Devon Green, Jr. of Myrtle Beach passed away on May 18, 2023.

Nelson Devon Green, Jr. was born on Tuesday, December I, 1992 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to Patricia Jean Green and the late Nelson Devon Green, Sr. He departed this life on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Nelson completed his education in the Myrtle Beach School system graduating with the class of 2011. During his high School years, he was a member of the Myrtle Beach Varsity Football team.

Nelson was preceded in death by his father Nelson Green; paternal grandparents, Ola and Nelson Green; and his uncle, Melvin Green.

Nelson is survived by his mother, Patricia Jean Green; his maternal grandparents, Emily Weston, and Jacob Goings; one auntie, La'Vola Green; one uncle, Edwin. Green; two special cousins, Regina Green and Lois Weston; two special friends, Terrance "Jack" Herriott, and Aveonnia "Maria" Hoyte; and a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel.  Interment will follow at Pine Island Community Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel.
