Our Lord, in His infinite wisdom, saw fit to grant peace and eternal rest to Nicole McDuffie, affectionately known as “Cole.” Nicole was born on June 16, 1970, in Buffalo, New York, to the late Girlevia Croskery. She transitioned from this earthly life on Sunday, January 11, 2026, following a brief but courageous battle with Stage IV cancer.
Nicole received her early education at Lorraine Elementary School and South Park High School in Buffalo, New York. Following graduation, she served on the board of Fidelis Care, contributing to the organization's growth and elevation, while also holding several other professional roles.
At an early age, Nicole accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and faithfully attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Buffalo, New York, under the leadership of the late Reverend Joe L. Fisher.
After relocating to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Nicole continued her pursuit of a brighter future by enrolling at Miller-Motte Technical College to study Medical Billing, demonstrating both bravery and determination as she worked to support her family. Soon after, she found her calling in the timeshare sales industry at Westgate Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort, where she built a highly successful career spanning more than 15 years.
Through dedication, excellence, and leadership, Nicole rose from Sales Associate to General Manager, and ultimately to Sales Director. Throughout her career, she made a profound and lasting impact on the lives of countless colleagues, clients, and friends, inspiring many through her strength, wisdom, and generosity.
Nicole was preceded in love and legacy by her great-grandmother, Ann Bell Dawson; her grandmother, Gladyes McDuffie; her beloved mother, Girlevia Croskery; and her cherished Auntie Jan, whose influence, guidance, and love helped shape the woman Nicole became.
