SURFSIDE BEACH It is with great sadness that the family of Norma Grover announces her passing. She left this world on 9/25/2024 at 95 years and 10 months. She will be proudly and fondly remembered as the Grover family matriarch. Through the eyes of her husband, John Grover, who passed in 2013, she was seen as his spiritual mate and amazing wife of 66 years. She has three loving sons and their spouses, Richard (Jacalyn) Grover, Robert Grover, and John (Marlene) Grover. Her grandchildren, Corina (Scott) Smith, Jill (Bill) Martin, Kelli (Bob) Sewell, Aubrey (Jeremiah) Badell, and IT (Marisa) Grover, were the beacons of light that lit her life up. Up until the end she remembered and loved her 12 great-grandchildren; and her great-great-grandchildren. Her Ceremony of Life will be held on October 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Ocean View Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach, SC. This is a private ceremony. She will be interred with her husband in Florida National Cemetery on Friday, October 4. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Grand Strand Optimist Club, PO Box 1311, Myrtle Beach, SC 29578.
There will be a gathering of family and friends at 1:00 PM, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel.
